FAQ
How long does it take to complete an exchange?
The speed of exchange depends directly on the availability of active funds in our system. Typically, transactions are processed immediately upon receipt of a transfer order. To increase the anonymity of your finances, we recommend that you use the deferred exchange option.
How many Bitcoins can I exchange?
The minimum transfer amount is 0.01 BTC. The maximum amount depends on the total amount of Bitcoins in the Bitpetite system. The exact amount available is shown on the order page.
How many confirmations does Bitpetite require for a Bitcoin transaction?
The required number of confirmations depends on the amount of the transaction:

Up to 25 BTC - 1 confirmation
Up to 250 BTC - 3 confirmation
Up to 1000 BTC - 4 confirmation
Up to 1000 BTC - 5 confirmations
How much is the service fee?
The minimum service fee is 0.5% of the amount transferred. We also charge 0.0005 BTC for each receiving address you specify.
Why should I opt for higher service fee?
You might want to select a higher service fee when placing your order, if you want to make it difficult for a third party to analyze your financial activity related to this transaction. Knowing the amount of the standard service fee, a third party can analyze the public registry of Bitcoin transactions and deduce the receiving address. Transactions that use random service fee amounts are harder to track.
I accidentally closed the transfer page.
You don't have to keep the page open once you get the sending address for the transfer of funds. All transfers to this address will be processed within 24 hours.
What is the sending address for a money transfer?
This is a special address unique for Bitcoin wallet order. It is generated at the time of order placement and issued to customers for a money transfer.
For how long will the sending address for a money transfer be valid?
A generated address remains valid for 24 hours.
How do you protect your customers' privacy?
We do not store information on our customers' operations. Using BITPETITE services does not require any identification information. We do not have a customer database. We do not have a Bitcoin wallet database either. We store generated sending addresses for money transfers only for as long as they remain valid.
What is a transaction receipt?
We provide a transaction receipt with a digital signature as a proof of your money transfer. Please keep this receipt until your money transfer is completed: the receipt is the only proof of our service obligations.
Where can I find the signature to verify the transaction receipt?
You can always find our public GPG key at Contact page.
Why should I mix my Bitcoins?
Bitcoin is a modern digital currency that enables individuals to make fast payments and money transfers for a low service fee. Bitcoin is often called an anonymous currency, but this is not so. Each user in the Bitcoin network has at least one alias, which is the address for receiving the Bitcoin money. As long as a Bitcoin address is associated with an individual, its owner's financial activity can be traced in the public registry of Bitcoin transactions. Most financial services adhere to such policies as KYC (know your customer) and AML (anti-money laundering), which require customers to provide identification documents in order to use the service. Even if you use Bitcoin only for purchasing physical goods, you will still need to provide certain personal information like your delivery address, name, and contact information. Bitpetite exchanges customers' money to Bitcoins drawn from anonymous funds. Our privacy protection technology includes sending funds to multiple customer purses at once, deferred transactions, and and random service fees. We keep no records of our customers' operations.
